The storage of manuals and books with their differing sizes and weights requires robust storage systems. From high density book silos to university and medical libraries Link 51, with its wide product portfolio has the solution.
With experience gained over many installations, Link 51 recognise the need to preserve and protect the variety of media to ensure safe and convenient user access where required.
This is achieved by using either static, mobile shelving or tiered shelving systems, ergonomically designed and tailored to the customers needs, allowing documents or publications to be retrieved quickly and easily and returned for safe keeping.
The re-housing of the Science Museum Archive and Library saw some half a million individual items - from journals and books to historic documents - located in a single resource. No less than 28 kms of Link 51 shelving are now at the heart of the installation.
