Link 51 will be demonstrating its full range of pallet racking, shelving and storage solutions when it attends Logistics Link South and the inaugural Port to Shelf seminar next month.
The annual exhibition for the southern logistics, distribution, and supply chain sector is being staged at Sandown Park Racecourse in Esher, Surrey, on February 11-12, where major suppliers from across the country will exhibit under one roof, looking at how distribution channels can be improved for today’s supply chain networks.
Simon Baugh, Link 51’s Marketing Director said; “This show is even more significant this year because of all the exciting developments that are happening in the South, especially with the London Gateway, which looks set to revolutionise, and bring significant opportunities and economical savings to the supply chain industry.”
“As sector market leader, the growth in port centric logistics is important for Link 51 and our customers,” said Simon. “With more and more retailers looking to store goods and undertake logistics activities close to a port of entry, intelligent storage design is a key factor in ensuring operational success.”
“At the show, we will be demonstrating how our technical expertise in designing large scale distribution centres can ensure greater flexibility when goods are being distributed across multiple channels, which can lead to significant savings,” added Simon. Link 51’s major projects team also oversaw the design, manufacture and installation of wide-aisle pallet racking for the Bristol Ports Company’s distribution centre ahead of schedule.
Link 51 is the only British company that can manufacture and supply fully integrated racking, mezzanine floors, shelving and locker storage systems.
Plus, with more than 60 years’ experience in established warehousing, industrial, retail and e-fulfilment sectors, the company’s proven expertise, combined with its broad product portfolio, which includes the latest Shuttle technology, enables customers to benefit from the best and most innovative storage solution for their requirements.
“Logistics Link South provides the opportunity for our major projects team to meet key decision makers and demonstrate how our bespoke approach can help them optimise their space, and create efficiencies and scales of economy that will result in more effective working processes,” confirmed Simon.
