We are pleased to announce the winner of our PegsvLockers competition. Our panel of judges deliberated for quite some time as all of the entries would have made worthy winners, however the decision was made that the winning school and recipient of £2,000 towards an installation of school lockers is … Ferndale County Primary School.
The competition was judged based on the storage area which looked most in need of refurbishment and the best supporting reason why lockers would benefit the school. The panel of judges felt that Ferndale Primary school had gone to considerable effort to demonstrate the issues their peg storage area is having on the school and they were also extremely impressed with the poem the pupils and staff at Ferndale had created.
Liz Horrobin, Assistant Head at Ferndale Primary School said “Ferndale Primary School is thrilled to have won the Pegs v Lockers school competition. We can’t wait to work alongside Link 51 to make our school extra smart and less cluttered. The children are also very excited about the prospect of having their very own lockers next year! Thank you, Link 51.”
We would like to thank all of the schools who took the time to enter our PegsvLockers competition, we hope that we can work together to develop space saving storage solutions which can solve the issues you are facing from the use of coat pegs.
Keep your eyes peeled for updates on the installation at Ferndale Primary School as well as future school locker competitions.
