Project Management
From the initial briefing and site surveys, through detailed design proposals to manufacture, installation and final commissioning, Link 51 management team is structured in a flexible way so as to service the varied storage requirements of our customers, irrespective of size, complexity or location. Experienced personnel co- ordinate the disciplines and trades essential to the successful supply of storage equipment with a view to achieving the best practical solution for clients.
Upon receipt of an order / contract a Project Manager is allocated. It is the responsibility of the Project Manager to manage the contract from receipt through to Final Account. The Project Manager will liase with the Design Team and the appropriate members of the client’s Management Team. The Project Manager’s responsibilities also include agreeing the programme, recording progress and liasing in respect of issues requiring the Design Team’s consideration.
Link 51 also employ a Field Installation Manager responsible for the installation activities of Link 51 nationwide. They co-ordinate all labour requirements to meet the overall programme and milestone dates. The Field Manager is supported by a number of highly skilled Installation Supervisors whose duties are to attend to the daily site requirements of the contract, including material flow, resolution of installation problems, interface with other trades etc. The Supervisors report to the Field Manager and collectively they support the Project Manager.
Where CDM (Construction Design Management) is concerned, it is particularly important to ensure that the right company is chosen to co-ordinate these trades. Establishing safe working practices is paramount from the outset of any project and nominating one company to project manage each of these trades will ensure the highest standards are met.
Link 51 has the skills and resources to provide the customer with the peace of mind that a project will be managed from start to finish, safely and within any pre-agreed timescales.
